Unable to edit elementor pages because of plugin issues

    Hi there,

    Please see the title for the main issue. I’ve found, through Elementor’s support team, that I am unable to edit any of the pages because there are plugin conflicts between Rankmath and another 3rd party plugin built for Elementor, “Header Footer & Blocks”. I will be sending a message to the author of this plugin as well to learn more, but I also wanted to ask for support on RankMath as well. The original designer is no longer with the company and therefore, will have to find a solution to use these plugins.
    During my investigation, I’ve found that the issue sometime lies with RankMath and other times with the other plugin. Can you help me get to the bottom of this? I can provide you the credentials to the website with the account I gave to Elementor to use.

    Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    It seems to be working fine on our end:

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    If the issue persists, please record a video screencast using a tool like Loom showing the troubleshooting and edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    May I know if you have tried checking for plugin conflicts? I’ve tried using the plugins you mentioned and it seems to be working fine on our end:

    Also, could you try to update your PHP version to PHP 7.2 at-least?

    elementor with rank math doesn’t work since the last update. Did you make changes in the free version?

    Hi Reinelle,

    The plugin conflicts comes from not Elementor basic, but from Elementor PRO.

    However, I will try to update my PHP version to 7.2 and get back to you.

    Hello,

    The issue, as noted, occurs when Rank math is active together with Elementor Pro. If you check the browser console of the page when the issue occurs, you will see the error 500 (Internal Server Error). This means the issue is server related. I suspect this has to do with the PHP memory limit assigned to your site. Could you please ask your host to increase the memory limit to something like 128 or more instead of the current 64and let us know if the issue still occurs.
