Unable to decode value and not save changes for rank-math-options-titles

    I have imported data from old version of Yoast with ASCII icons in titles/descriptions formart (▷→☘ and vars %…%). When i change values for “rank-math-options-titles” page loads with “Settings updated” but doesn’t save the changes. POST request shows “Unable to decode value” for titles and descriptions.

    Rank Math v1.0.42.3

    Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    I don’t get any error on my setup when I try to save settings with ASCII icons. Please check this screencast from my setup: https://i.rankmath.com/tvNY4c

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

    Please let us know if you find the culprit.

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    Hello,

    Finally I have debug it. T he problem is other icon used in titles ;

    For example this emoji https://www.w3schools.com/charsets/tryit.asp?deci=129351, if I use de DEC code 🥇 works OK for save changes and it showes the icon 🥇. If I copy/paste the icon 🥇 (without DEC/HEX code) for titles so don´t save new changes.
