    Rank Math free

    Hello,

I have recently switched to RankMath on WordPress which is hosted by NameHero.

Whenever I try to share my new blog post to my Twitter, it doesn’t seem to appear on my Twitter feed.

The option is there to edit the Twitter description for the link but my Twitter username does not appear and I am unable to edit the actual tweet.

Before adding RankMath, I could link to Twitter through the WordPress settings tab for each individual post but that option has now disappeared.

    I would appreciate any help.

    Thank you
    Louise

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Can you please share the affected URL with us so we can further check it on our end?

Looking forward to helping you on this one.

    Good morning,

    Thank you for your reply.

    Hello,

I’ve checked your site, but it seems that Rank Math could not show the OpenGraph meta tag in your page’s source code.

Please follow these steps to configure your posts’ Twitter appearance:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/meta-box-social-tab/#twitter-options

Once done, clear your website’s cache and check using Twitter Card Validator tool.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

Thank you – I’ve tried following the step-by-step but it doesn’t seem to have the option to connect my Twitter account.

The tag is just @username rather than my Twitter handle.

Do I need to install the Twitter plugin first for it to link?

    Thank you,
    Louise

    Hello,

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Please verify the details you added to the sensitive data area are correct as they did not work for me.

In the meantime, please temporarily deactivate Rank Math and check if that fixes the issue. If not, there may be something else causing the issue and you can eleminate Rank Math as the source.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hi,

I’ve just double-checked and that’s the correct login information. Would you be able to try again for me please? I’ve just tried logging on from my phone instead of my computer and it worked (I don’t think it did the other day, oddly).

If not, shall I then deactivate RankMath?

    Thank you,
    Louise

    Hello,

I checked your current Twitter feed and some of the posts have a correct preview and some don’t have it.

Please try following the guide my colleague presented in the last reply and temporarily disable Rank Math and clear the caches to see if the issue goes away.

If it does, let us know and we will further investigate the issue.

    Looking forward to helping you.
