Troubleshooting Post 404 Error That Occurs When Rank Math Plugin Acivated

  • I have isolated a 404 error that occurs on a new post. The error is only present when Rank Math is activated. I have used Rank Math for over a year and am not having this issue with other posts. I have deleted the post, resaved permalinks, deleted cache on my server as well as my cloud server, then tried creating a new post and still have the same issue.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    First I have checked which plugin was causing the issue and I was able to determine it was Rank Math. After that, I detected the problem was in the Redirection module. There, I found the issue was with a 410 redirection so I tested all your redirections to find the cause.

    And I got it. It seems like you have in that post you are loading a URL that contains “tag/” and you have a redirection enabled for that specific pattern.

    Once I disabled this one:
