  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

I’ve checked the post title, but it is only showing the title in the page’s source code. Please refer to the screenshot attached in the sensitive data section.

To apply the default title you have set in Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Post, please leave the title field blank upon editing the post in the Snippet Editor:

    Edit

Once done, clear your website’s cache and check again the page’s source code to verify the Title.

Let us know how this goes.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Please verify that the sitename is set by going to WordPress dashboard > Settings > General and verify the “Site Title” is set correctly. If not, enter the correct site title and click save changes at the bottom of the page.

If the issue persists, There may be a conflict between Rank Math an your theme or another plugin Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), there may be a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

    Hello,

I checked your Title and meta description settings and they are set up and displaying correctly. In this case, Google may be ignoring your default title and meta and creating their own. You can refer to the following articles for why Google changes the search results titles:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/different-meta-title-and-description/
    https://developers.google.com/search/blog/2021/08/update-to-generating-page-titles

You current title is “Ist ein Igelhaus sinnvoll?” I would recommend changing it to “Ist ein Igelhaus sinnvoll? | Herrlichergarten” to help Google change to the correct title.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have questions.

    Hello,
