Title attributes on Popular Posts are added wrongly or not added

  • I enabled the addition of title attributes again and the problem persists. Unfortunately the title attribute is not added on Popular Post in the categories, but that might not be a bad thing.

Instead, on the homepage the title attribute is added and takes the first text it wants.

They tell me that I had a drop in traffic and keywords due to the March Google update, but for me it is instead the removal of the title and alt attributes that Rank Math adds automatically.

When I enabled this feature, I got some benefits and by removing them I lost them.

  • Hello,

I apologize for the issue you are facing with the title attributes not being added correctly or missing on Popular Posts. From your description, it seems that the title attribute is not added on Popular Posts in the categories, but it is added on the homepage and takes the first text it finds.

To address this concern, I recommend checking the settings related to the title attributes in Rank Math. You can navigate to Rank Math SEO โ†’ General Settings โ†’ Images and ensure that the Add missing TITLE attributes feature is correctly configured with the desired Title attribute format.

If the issue persists even after verifying the settings, you may need to review the specific configurations related to the title attributes for Popular Posts and homepage sections.

If you need further assistance or if the problem continues, please reply here, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you promptly.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate your feedback and will work to resolve this issue for you.

    Best regards.

    Hello,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

Rank Math only adds the title attribute to images that are found in the page’s content meta or post_content if those images are coming from a template or from a non-supported builder, then the automatic title attributes will not show up.

    Looking forward to helping you.
