There has been a critical error on your website.

  • Hello,

    After i install and activate Rankmath, i get ‘There has been a critical error on your website.

    Learn more about debugging in WordPress.’. I used the latest rankmath version. 1.0.38

    I tried some possible solutions already. Flush SEO Anylysis data does not work. It gives Internal Server Error when i try that.

    I also tried health plugin to check conflict issues with theme or other plugins. Also did not work, with all plugins and theme active during troubleshoot mode, the site works. But when going out of troubleshoot mode, the same error is visible when rankmath is activated. Please help.

    I have yoast activated temporarily because rankmath did not work. The error is not caused by Yoast because i only instaled yoast after the error.

    What do you mean by the error reported on your admin email ? i have got no error in my email. Just an error message displayed on the website url saying ‘There has been a critical error on your website’, when i deactivate rankmath its gone. On my other domain name within the same hosting it does work so im not sure what is wrong.

    I see you have 2 plugins for SSL. Can you please use only one?

    Can we also try to disable all your plugin temporarily and see where the issue might be coming from?

    We’ll have to enable the WP_DEBUG and see what errors get logged in the debug.log file. We can enable it using File Manager plugin too, but changing files from admin could break your site. Can you please share your FTP details too?

    The two ssl plugins cannot be the problem because i did this recently after the error occured. I have however deactivated one of the 2. I now also added the ftp login info

    I have logged in to your site. I have used the Health check plugin to troubleshoot your plugins. The problem doesn’t occur when Rank math alone is enabled. This suggests a conflicting plugin. Please perform the check again and let us know how it goes.

    i tried that as well, but like i said in my first post, when in troubleshout mode and all plugins are enabled, the website also works and there is no critical error. When out of troubleshoot mode the error persists, so that would mean that its not a conflicting plugin problem right?

    You are using an outdated version of the WooCommerce plugin which is causing problem. Please update it to the latest version, that should fix the issue.
