Hi, Does having unique theme benefits website’s ranking?

    For example

There are 2 Premium Themes with All scemma, breadcrumbs. everything in them but.

If Ten Websites use premium theme no1 and two other websites use premium theme no2.

Then does using unique themes will help search rankings of two other websites? (Premium theme no2 websites)

  • Hello, I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing. Having a unique theme can indeed benefit a website’s ranking. When multiple websites use the same theme, it can lead to duplicate content issues and make it harder for search engines to distinguish between them. This can potentially impact the rankings of those websites.

Using a unique theme can help differentiate your website from others, potentially improving its visibility and ranking in search results. Additionally, having a theme that is compatible with SEO plugins like Rank Math can further enhance your website’s SEO performance.

If you’re a theme author or developer, you can make your WordPress theme compatible with Rank Math by following the guidelines provided in our knowledgebase article here.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting support.

Ranking on SERPs is not directly tied to the theme you are using unless there’s something very specific from it that causes the website to slow down or other additional benefits like the ones you mentioned.

Having said that, if multiple people use the same theme, they can all rank on the first page for their niche and targeted keywords, even if the theme is responsible for adding breadcrumbs and other SEO-related optimizations.

That happens because the same theme should be able to output the optimizations based on the content of the website so there won’t be 2 similar websites, even if they use the same theme.

Bottom line, even if you use a theme that is being used by thousands of people, you can still rank well on SERPs depending on the content you have, SEO strategy, and all the other metrics used by search engines to rank websites.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
