The tag link=cannonical appears more than once in the document

    Hello,

    Google search console reports “The tag link=cannonical appears more than once in the document” for all my amp pages. It also says that my AMP version will not be indexed.How do I fix the issue?

    My site URL is https://digitalmaverick.in and I am using AMP for WP plugin.

    Any help will be welcome.

    I have just tested the amp version of your homepage on the online validator and it passes with no errors as you can see here: https://search.google.com/test/amp?id=KZHlwSucZBuMAUPdDfkKCg
    I have also checked the page source but I could not find any duplicate canonical links.
    Please purge your site cache and validate your site once again.

    Michael I am having a similar issue would you like me to open a new ticket?

    I got 36 errors for this after installing the plug in. I’ve tried clearing my cache… help!

    Example:

    Hey Michael, the reason you did not see any errors is because I changed the plugin. I installed AMP WP and it works like a charm 🙂
