    u mean on google console or on Edit robots.txt Rank Math SEO

    What my colleague meant is check your browser console for any Rank Math related script errors when you save your changes for your robots.txt under the Rank Math > General Settings > Robots.txt.

    If there are any, there’s a possibility that your server is blocking Rank Math’s API that won’t allow you to save changes in the settings.

    If that isn’t the case, please clear your website and browser cache and see if the robots.txt file is updated.

    You may also check for any physical robots.txt file present in your website’s directory. If you find any, please delete it to allow Rank Math to generate a virtual robots.txt file.

    We have noted this issue before from our other clients before and a major cause of the issue was the WP-Optimize plugin.

    The disallow rule for wpo-plugins-tables-list.json is being added at the end of the robots.txt file. You can make all the other changes and they are being saved but the WPOptimize plugin is adding that line at the end of the file.

    Please get in touch with the support of WPOptimize and inform them about this. They will be able to help you resolve this.

    The plugin will add that line again when you will reactivate it. So the only way to fix this is to get in touch with the WPOptimize and ask them if they have a fix that you can implement on your site.
