the General box to edit title tag and description not showing

    After installation, I cant edit the title tag and meta description on individual pages. the only setting that I skip was to connect to Google search console. I followed the setup, what could be the issue?

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    Please let us know if you find the culprit.

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    I did the troubleshoot. during troubleshooting, it use the default theme and rank mark are working but when switch to the theme I am using which child theme of Jumbotrun, the whole site went error 500, so it be the theme giving trouble. So what can I do? I cant change theme as its my client theme.

    I saw that someone have logged in and reactivated Rank Math but I still dont see it working. Do you have an update on the issue?

    I tried to check the debug log under Rank math > Status & Tools > System Status but it seems to be blank. Have you disabled this functionality on your site?

    I also tried enabling troubleshoot mode and ended up with the same HTTP ERROR 500. We might have to disable the plugins manually to check the cause if the conflict. Could you please create a staging site for us and share the access so we can investigate this further. You can check this article on how to create a staging site

    Thank you for your reply and your help.

    we dont have access to the client hosting, so its impossible to create a staging site for rank math to run test for now.

    No worries, it could be mainly with the theme and the WordPress version or some other additional code that the previous person put in. There dont seem to have other ways.

    Can I keep this ticket open till we have confirmation from the client before we proceed ?

    No I did not disabled Rank math > Status & Tools > System Status, I did not do anything besides following the normal setup.
