Thank you for your swift response really appreciate. Sorry I don’t want to give my social media links which is related to website anywhere else. Usually websites, they give this links in the footers. Is there any alternative solution for this? For my About Us page, my external source I have only this. Please advice on this.

I tried everything, but it didn’t work. When I moved my social icons outside the footer section, RankMath crawled and counted as an external link. I have no other external links on my About Us page except this. I think I have to find a place outside the footer. Anyway, thank you for your support.

Please note that the internal and external links are counted only if they are inside the the_content section of the page.
Please note that links on any other part outside the the_content section are not counted. Also, the link counter that shows in the pages’ backend only shows the number of links in the actual page content and excludes the footer, sidebar, and any other widgets.
However, that doesn’t mean that they are not getting crawled by Rank Math as search engines are testing the live version of your site. These tests are just guidelines, and one does not need to follow them religiously.
