    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We checked your website on Google using the site: operator and can see that some pages from your website have been indexed as shown in the image below:

It seems you’re facing a situation where your pages are not showing up in Google search results for specific keywords, even though they are indexed. This issue could be due to various factors that affect how Google ranks and displays content in search results.

Please note that only Google can determine how results are ranked in SERP and it is up to Google to show your content for the desired keyword when searched. The results in Google search pages are controlled by Google’s algorithm. However, using Rank Math ensures that your website is indexed and available for search engines to display in search engine result pages.

You can learn more about the key factors that help determine which results are returned for a search query from this Google article: https://www.google.com/search/howsearchworks/how-search-works/ranking-results/

However, to make tracking your ranking for keywords on Google easier, you can use the Rank Math’s Rank Tracker feature to track your keywords and their position on the Search Engine Result Page.

Rank Tracker can track the keyword performance of your selected keywords. You can enter the keywords in the Rank tracker, and the keyword performance will be monitored so that you can have a clear picture of which keywords are performing well as compared to the others. Finally, note that ranking on Google depends on different factors. Here are some of the factors Google considers when ranking your website.

    1. Your website’s authority
    2. Your content’s quality and how better it is than the other article currently ranking.
    3. How competitive the keyword you are using is.
    4. How many backlinks you have and if they are better than what the other websites ranking for that keyword have.
    5. Your website’s crawlability.
    6. Frequency of new content and content updates.
    7. So much more that there is a dedicated blog post on it by Brian Dean 🙂 https://backlinko.com/google-ranking-factors

We hope that helps, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

hi for some reason you have missed the question i have asked. can you re-read my question and answer it please. also, yes i get the site:in2town.co.uk thing but not talking about that. any help would be great.

    Hello,

We have checked your robots.txt and we can confirm that it is not blocking Google from crawling your site. However, you can also check it using Google’s robots.txt testing tool in the Google Search Console to ensure there are no syntax errors or unintended blocks: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6062598?hl=en

You can also check our default robots.txt rules here: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-edit-robots-txt-with-rank-math/#default-rules

Regarding the indexing issue, we can see that both pages are already indexed, however, it seems it is not ranking for that specific search term. Please note it is totally Google’s prerogative what to show on its SERPs and it is usually what it thinks users will be interested in seeing or appropriate response to ‘searchers’ query.

Thus your content should be optimized for the targetted search term not just the SEO title and description.

Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
