Our TOC block will only detect headings that are added using the default heading block from WordPress and your website is using a different type of heading block.

That is fine. The TOC Block from Rank Math currently only works with the default blocks of the WordPress block editor – any other editor or blocks with not work with it.
But you can definitely use another TOC plugin to add a Table of Contents to your content. Here’s a list of TOC plugins that are compatible with Rank Math.
