Sync Open Graph & oEmbed For LinkedIn

    I’m trying to configure my LinkedIn preview details. I have all open graph tags properly in place, and previews are working on Facebook & Twitter. LinkedIn is not pulling the correct data.

    From some research, it seems LinkedIn now prioritizes oEmbed info over Open Graph info.

    What can I do to ensure LinkedIn shows the right title, image & description?

    Could you please share the affected URL so we can check as well?

    Meanwhile, for a workaround, you can add this in the last line of your active theme’s functions.php file, and this will remove oembed links on your site:

    remove_action( 'wp_head', 'wp_oembed_add_discovery_links', 10 );

    Please do take a complete backup of your website before applying any filter on your site.

    Once done, clear your website’s cache and check again using the inspector tool. https://www.linkedin.com/post-inspector/
