I have written unique meta titles and meta descriptions for all pages, including product category pages. However, the issue is that instead of using the descriptions I provided for each page, it defaults to a single meta description displayed across all pages. How can i solve this?

  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you are facing issues with the meta descriptions not being taken by your category pages. It seems like the default meta description is being displayed across all pages instead of the unique descriptions you provided.

To ensure that your category pages display the correct meta descriptions you have set, please follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to your category page.
    2. Click on Edit Snippet in the Rank Math Meta Box.
    3. Add your unique category description in the Description field.
    4. Save the changes.

Here is an example of how to add a category description using Rank Math:

    Add category description

By following these steps, you can set individual meta descriptions for each of your category pages. If you have already done this and are still facing issues, please ensure that the meta descriptions are correctly saved and that there are no conflicting settings affecting the meta descriptions.

If the issue persists after following these steps, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
