Hi, I can’t understand why I don’t see structured data with Google’s tool (Advanced results test) in home page.
On my home page there are multiple local business, events, real estate tabs but none are seen. V The results of this text are: article and local business but they concern my website and not the activities entered. How can I resolve this please?

  • Hello,

I apologize for the issue you are facing with structured data not appearing correctly on your homepage when using Google’s Advanced Results Test tool. To ensure that the structured data for your local business, events, and real estate tabs is displayed correctly, you can follow these steps:

    1. Test the Schema: After making any changes to your website, it’s essential to test the presence of your theme’s rich snippets using Google’s Rich Results Testing Tool. You can access the tool here.

    2. Configure Schema Markup: Make sure you have configured the Schema Markup correctly using the Rank Math plugin. You can refer to the Rank Math Knowledge Base on how to configure Schema Markup.

    3. Add Multiple “areaServed” Cities: If you have multiple local businesses, ensure that you have added multiple “areaServed” cities to your LocalBusiness Schema. You can follow the steps outlined in this guide on how to add multiple “areaServed” cities.

    4. Contact Support: If you have followed these steps and are still experiencing issues with structured data not displaying correctly, you can reach out to our support team directly from here for further assistance.

Please follow these steps to ensure that your structured data is correctly configured and displayed for your local business, events, and real estate tabs on your homepage.

If you need further assistance or have any other questions, feel free to ask.

    Thank you.

We checked your homepage with Google’s Rich Results Test tool and we can see the schema markups are getting detected. Please check the screenshot in the sensitive data section for reference.

Thanks for the reply. I saw that the scheme is present but what I expected to see is the one for the local businesses present in the home page carousel. They are not taken into consideration.I put some of the links in the “sensitive data” area.Furthermore, the home schema should not be of the “article” type. I removed the default and cleared the cache but it didn’t change I expect the home page to also be of the “local business” type like the listings I mentioned

    Hello,

To remove the Article Schema from the homepage you need to actually open the homepage in the backend and in the Schema tab of our plugin you should see the Article Schema being parsed. That is the one that should be deleted, and then you can clear the cache to test again.

As for the LocalBusiness Schema on the homepage, that is coming from the settings in the Local SEO module of our plugin and that’s the only way you have to control that data unless you are proficient with code which in that case you can use the following filter: https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#extend-json-ld-data

The LocalBusiness Schema on the pages you shared it’s not coming from our plugin. You currently have a script tag outside the scope of our plugin adding that data to the pages you shared in the sensitive data section.

Since that is not controlled by our plugin, there’s nothing we can do to control them.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
