How do I know if I’m using Analytics V4?
I went through the instructions and I still can’t see my account in the Analytics box. I can see it in the search console box but not the analytics. thanks

Thank you for keeping in touch with us.
If you head over to your Google Analytics dashboard and check your property setting, you will notice that V4 and V3(Universal Analytics) has different ID format. Please see the screenshot I inserted in the Sensitive Data section.

Spoke too soon. I am now going through the wizard and it still isn’t showing my site in the Analytics box.
Went through that detailed guide now 3 times. Still isn’t linking.

Upon checking your Analytics settings, it seems your Google Analytics is not properly configured since you can’t select an Account for the integration (Please see screenshot in the Sensitive Data section), can you please head over to your GA and check if you have configured your Account and your Property. https://analytics.google.com/
Also, do make sure that to use GA3 or Universal Analytics as instructed here: https://rankmath.com/kb/using-ga4/

Please check that when you enable Universal Analytics, you set it to Create a Universal Analytics only.

You need to set up the Account and Property in Analytics for the dropdown menu to appear, and then you can select your property.
Also, ensure that you create it using the format https://domain.com as well.
I hope this helps resolve your issues.
