    Hello Support

When accessing the RankMath dashboard any settings pages visited comes up with the error message “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” Forums I’ve found recommends to go through the wizard which has its own problem. Clicking to go to the wizard or saving results in a blank screen thereafter. In the sensitive data is a 2-3 minute Loom video touching on the direct issues listed, as well as reference to the current plugins on the website.

Note: I’ve disabled all plugins except for Elementor, Elementor Pro, and RankMath and the issue remains the same.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Could you please try increasing the PHP Memory limit on your site and let us know if tit helps?

If not, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello Michael

I’ve tried the memory limit and there is sufficient amount unused. I’ve installed the other plugins and have added the temporary login link in the sensitive info section (valid for 3 days).

    Regards,
    Giovanni

    Hello,

    Thank you for following up.

I’ve accessed your site and reactivating Rank Math fixed the issue. Your website is also already connected to your Rank Math account. You can verify that in Rank Math > Dashboard > Help and also in this link https://rankmath.com/my-account/websites/

Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need further assistance.

    Hello Reinelle

Thank you. Would you be able to advise what was the issue(s) that prevented RankMath to run?

    Regards,
    Giovanni

    Hello,

    Thank you for following up.

It seems that you haven’t run the setup wizard and directly accessed the dashboard; that’s why the issue occurred. The setup needs to run once after installing Rank Math.

I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need further assistance.

Thank you for confirming and the prompt support. 🙂

    Hello,

We are super happy that this issue is already resolved. If you have any other questions in the future, know that we are here to help you.

If you don’t mind me asking, could you please leave us a review (if you haven’t already) on https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/seo-by-rank-math/reviews/#new-post about your overall experience with Rank Math? We appreciate your time and patience.

If you have another question in the future, please feel free to create a new forum topic, and it will be our pleasure to assist you again.

    Thank you.
