Hi, I’ve been using RankMath for a while and it’s been quite amazing for my website SEO & performance. Recently I noticed something on my site while sharing my blog posts on Facebook + other platforms as well including WhatsApp. It used to work fine but for a month, since it does not show my blog post image preview, the CTR rate from Facebook dropped massively. I’d like to get an urgent solution for this bug.

I’d also want you to know that I’ve been using RankMath for around half a year and it used to work quite well. Everything works fine but for a month, it is really hurting the CTR rate from social media to my blog.

Before you guide me how can I solve this problem, I have already purged cache, bypass Cloudflare while debugging, test my link from Facebook Preview Debugger but I’m not able to solve this issue.

I’ve also read your blog regarding OpenGraph issues but no luck!.

Could you please help me regarding this issue?

Thank you for contacting Rank Math for help with your link previews not showing thumbnails.

I checked your homepage and everything seems to be set up correctly, but non of the link preview tests I try are working. There might be a caching issue preventing the image from being refreshed. Please may you try reuploading the social preview image under a different file name. (not https://factsinsights.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Facts-insights-social-share-preview-img.jpg) After you have assigned a new thumbnail, please retest the link.

I’ve multiple times changed the social preview images. I’ve switched to PNG, and JPEG/JPG. but still no luck. I’ve also modify the caching plugin along with CDN (CloudFlare) but still I’m not getting the preview image.

Is there anything else you’d suggest me to fix this?

I’ve checked the page in Twitter’s validator tool and the error code is:

ERROR: Fetching the page failed because other errors.

In this error code, please try the troubleshooting steps mentioned in these helpful links:

Once done, clear your website’s cache and check again.

Everything is fixed now, I followed the blog you shared and everything is working properly. However, my Twitter card is still not rendering but that’s OK. I barely share any link on the Twitter.
