I am afraid that I cannot seem to reproduce this behavior on my end. The trailing slash is displayed on the product URL with this feature enabled and disabled.
Is it possible that you have some additional redirections configured for your single products?

Im also having the same issue. We also had to reactivate Premmerce plugin and deactivate those options from Rank Math.

Rank Math doesn’t remove or add the slash when Remove Product base option is enabled. If in Permalinks slash is set, then it will show up in the product link Please see this Screencast: https://i.rankmath.com/XDwOfV
Can you please confirm, the permalinks on your site has a slash at the end?
