Sitemape shows only 9/10 URLs

    Hello,

    I am building a local website for a small business. Looking at Search Console, I quickly see that out of 10 “index” URL’s, only 8 are indexed. For the other 2, Search Console shows me that a no-index meta tag was found. That should have been on 05.12.2020. After that the page was no longer crawled.

    Now I noticed that one of the two pages is no longer displayed in my sitemap. I am at a loss as to why.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Please ensure you have not added a custom canonical URL to the page missing in the sitemap.

    You can also try refreshing the sitemap by diong the following:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/
