sitemap url showing 404 error

    One of my sitemap URLs is showing the 404 error. Even I submitted it on the search console where it said that it could not fetch the data. I tried all the methods suggested in your help forum. But I did not find any solution even after trying all the methods. Therefore, please check this specific URL that is not working. All other sitemap url is working fine.

    Please help me to solve this issue. Becasue of that, my tags are indexeded by google

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    I’ve checked your sitemaps, and the post tag sitemap is not included.

    Upon further checking, your post tags are set to noindex. Please note that a URL should be set to index for it to show in your sitemaps:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/url-not-in-sitemap/#noindex

    In this case, head over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Post: Tags then enable this option and set the robots meta tag to Index

    Index

    Once done, clear your website’s cache and check again.

    Hi, I checked out search console. I found 400 tags URLs that were marked a noindex. All those were stages URLs. As suggested, my tags pages is now ranked. However, How can remove the noindex tag on all those pages. since they are too many.

    Hello,

    Please mark the tags to Index from Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Tags > Tag Archives Robots Meta, and see if all the tags get indexed.

    If not, that would mean that the robots meta settings were manually changed for the tags and so, you’ll have to mark them Index by editing them individually.
