Please ensure you have verified the correct version of your website on Bing.
Some common issues might be that you verified HTTP instead of HTTPS, www version instead of non-www version.
With that said, if it is working fine on Google – there is no reason to assume the issue is with the sitemap. You have to contact Bing if the issue persists even after you do the above.
