It shouldn’t be an issue in Rank Math plugin but we will be happy to determine the issue with you. Are you using any cache plugin? If yes, have you set the sitemaps as never cache in the plugin?

For what it’s worth I also rolled back to version 1.0.42.3 and my sitemap problems seem to have gone away. Certainly seems like a Rank Math issue.

I can’t seem to replicate this issue with my setup. Are using NGINX server?
Please note that the most common cause for this is caching of sitemaps and the way to overcome involves clearing your cache, adding your sitemap links to be excluded from caching and re-saving your permalinks.
