  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

The Discovered URLs 0 that you see in Google Search Console just means that the URLs in the sitemap were already found by Googlebot by other means, instead of via the sitemap. For example, Googlebot may have found the URLs from internal links or possibly from links on another site.

Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Google shows the number of discovered URLs only when it finds the URLs through the sitemap or if Google has not crawled the sitemap yet.

If the URLs are already discovered through other means such as internal links or some other source, they won’t be displayed in the sitemaps section.

Please note that crawling and indexing of the website depend on the authority and crawl budget of the website.

It is completely up to Google if they want to index or not index your website. So, if you haven’t willingly or accidentally made your posts noindex and Google still isn’t indexing your posts – it means that either Google doesn’t want to index or hasn’t crawled your posts yet because it hasn’t allocated that much crawl budget to your website.

Please check this website for more details.

    Hope this helps.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Hello,

Can you please share the sitemap URL with us?

We look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

It seems like you’re using the sitemap generated by a third-party plugin, not by Rank Math. In this case, I’d like to suggest you to get in touch with that plugin support in order to see if they can resolve the issue for you.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

no bro i am using rank math check https://wikinewspedia.com/sitemap_index.xml

    Hello,

You seem to had two plugins generating sitemaps and that caused the ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS errors on sitemap_index.xml, which was generated by Rank Math.

One sitemap was being generated by Rank Math and the other was being generated by XML Sitemap & Google News and both were loading on different URLs.

However, I can see the error is now disappeared and your sitemap is correctly loading after you removed the sitemap generated by the other plugin.

Please try removing the sitemap URL from GSC and re-submitting sitemap_index.xml on GSC and give Google some time to crawl the sitemap.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

i did this thing last few weeks ago still I am getting this issue and after this I used other plugin

    Hello,

Please submit ?sitemap=1 instead of sitemap_index.xml and see if that helps.

    Hello,

Can you please share a screenshot of your sitemap section on GSC? You can upload screenshots using this tool and share the link here.

Please be advised that, Google may take some time to crawl the sitemap and update them, as I mentioned before. As a matter of fact, Google might take days or even weeks to crawl them and it’s depending on the crawl budget of your site.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
