    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support and sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

There are a few things you must check for in order to see why the sitemap is not getting updated or the posts in it not getting indexed.

    1. Make sure the post is not selected as ‘noindex’ in WP > Posts > Your Post > Advanced Tab in Rank Math.
    Screenshot:

    Individual Post Advanced Tab

    2. Ensure that the noindex is not selected for Global or Posts meta:

    Noindex Settings

    3. Check the sitemap settings and check if the posts are setup to be included in the sitemaps:

    Post Settings

Please note that it is completely upto Google if they want to index or not index your website. So, if you haven’t willingly or accidentally made your posts noindex and Google still isn’t indexing your page – it means that either Google doesn’t want to index or hasn’t crawled your page yet because it hasn’t allocated that much crawl budget to your website.

Please check this website for more details.

Apart from it, we would also request you to try to refresh/flush your sitemap while following the below steps:

Please go to the WP Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and then click Save.

Also, go to the Rank Math Dashboard > Sitemap Settings > Save.

After following the above-mentioned steps, please also exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server:

Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

Please exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

After excluding the sitemaps from your caching plugin, please check if the latest posts are added in the sitemaps.

Also, I tested your sitemaps using https://httpstatus.io/, and I found that the X-Cache directive gives a MISS value. Please have a look at the screencast available in the sensitive data section of this ticket.

If excluding the sitemaps from the caching plugin doesn’t help, then it would seem like an issue due to the X-Cache directive giving the MISS value. In this case, you can get in touch with your hosting provider to get more insights into this issue.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.
