    Usually it is due to some problems with cache plugins. Since Rank Math caches by itself the sitemaps, cache plugins shouldn’t but they do. So a lot of times you just need to exclude those sitemaps from the cache plugin and problem solved.

    But it is not necessary that the reason, there are many possible factors, that is why if that happens again for you, I recommend you to just contact us and we will be happy to help you to find the reason for your specific situation.

    Actually, I’m still having redirection to homepage issues. I’ve tried saving changes on permalink settings as suggested in the other thread. Interestingly, redirection doesn’t happen when I’m logged in to my WP dashboard. What’s happening?

    If this is not happening when you are logged in, it is likely you have a plugin limiting access to your sitemap to only admin. Could you please check. If you don’t find this issue​​, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    I went ahead and removed the below code which you had suggested for NGINX servers. That seems to have fixed the redirection for now. But not sure if that can be the permanent fix.
