SiteMap Redirect Issue

#23007

    Rank Math pro

I am having a couple of issues since updating to the Latest WordPress version.

    1. Sitemap is redirecting to homepage. I have saved permalinks, then saved sitemaps. I have deleted the plugin, deleted all cache, then reinstalled plugin. Still have same issue.

    2. Possibly related to previous issue, when RankMath is active, my last post shows on my homepage, if you scroll just below the trending slider module. However, if yo click the title to go to the post, it shows a 404 error.

I have installed Google XML Sitemap and plan to stick with it. I have disabled the Rank Math sitemap and no longer have a redirect. The 404 error is still occurring with Rankmath plugin activated. No error when deactivated.

I am going to keep Rankmath deactivated until I hear from you to prevent errors for visitors. Thanks for your help.

  • Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

I have isolated the issue with the Redirection Module inside the Rankmath Plugin. I do not have any redirections listed for the post having the issue. In addition, when I get the 404 error, the Tab Title shows post title not “Page Not Found” as it should.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

I cannot seem to reproduce this issue on your site when clicking the last post on your site and this happens when Rank Math is activated and the redirections module enabled.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

I have reset the post to publish. You can check it now if you are available.

    HI Brian,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I am sorry but I am still unable to reproduce this issue on my end. Clicking on the last published post does not cause any 404 errors. The shared link on the sensitive data section still returns a 404 even when Rank Math is deactivated because it does not seem to exist on your site.

I hope this info helps. Thank you.
