Sitemap /product_cat-sitemap.xml returns 404 error after URL structure change

    Hello! I have a sitemap problem on mbs.rs website which occured after product category URL stucture change – one part of the general sitemap “/product_cat-sitemap.xml” in Google Search Console returns HTTP 404 error. I am using RankMath and this is my first time encountering this kind of problem. No matter what I did, this part of sitemap continue to return 404 error. It is not blocked in robots.txt, I tried flushing sitemap cache, purge website cache, apache code in htaccess, notning works.

    Thank you for contacting support.

    Your entire sitemap is now throwing a 404 error meaning that this is cache-related.

    Can you please follow these steps?
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    That should fix the issue.
