Hi, im using wp download manager plugin for publishing posts! I’ve more than 350+ urls in wpdmpro_sitemap.xml generated by rank-math! When open sitemap_index.xml in my browser wpdmpro_sitemap.xml showing but when i check that in search console not showing, recently published posts are indexed & not submitted in sitemap! I’m using wp rocket i also tried to exclude sitemap.xml but not working i tried 3rd party sitemap plugin there also same problem. Please help me to fix this problem. Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Please attempt to flush your sitemap cache by following this video guide: https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

Also, you may need to check if you have any server-level caching software that might be still caching your sitemap pages. You can find the proper configuration to exclude your sitemap for Cloudflare (if you have any):

After checking all that, remove all your sitemap/s from Google Search Console and submit only the primary sitemap (sitemap_index.xml). See if this helps you with your current issue.

I deactivated wp rocket & disabled cloudflare fully from my website but still that wpdmpro-sitemap.xml not showing in GSC!.

This problems are started after i started using Instant Indexing for Google plugin!

Hello,

You can resubmit your sitemap_index.xml on Google Search Console. First, you have to remove your existing sitemap by clicking on the three dots on the top-right corner and then click on Remove Sitemaps.

Once you have removed the Sitemap, you can add it by entering the Sitemap URL.

I deleted & resubmitted sitemap but not working btw thanks for your help 🙁

After disabled cloudflare & wp rocket
I tested by posting a new post, just now a Google bot crawled that url but sitemap n/a showing!

Hello,

When the Googlebot is trying to access the website sometimes it faces a captcha problem to solve and those can cause issues.

You need to allow the Googlebot free access to the website so it can check the sitemaps and detect them properly.

Please check the firewall rules and make sure that nothing there is blocking access to Googlebot.

You can also add this filter in your theme’s function.php or rank-math.php file to disable the sitemap caching:

add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

Hello,

Can you please confirm if you have added the filter provided by my colleague?

If you haven’t, please add the filter in the theme’s funtions.php file.

Then, clear the website cache and check the sitemap.

Also, please share the sitemap URL in the sensitive data section so we can check on our end.

Hello,

I checked the sitemap, it is working fine.

I also validated the sitemap with XML Sitemap Validator, it is validated without any errors or warnings:

Indexed, Not Submitted in Sitemap is not an issue, it only means that Google has already indexed the posts/products but not through the sitemap.

It is possible that Google is crawling your website and indexing the posts, pages through the internal links on your website and not through the sitemap, and as a result, the crawl budget for your website is exhausted and Google is not able to discover the URLs through your sitemap.

As Google has not crawled the sitemap, it is showing NA for all those URLs.

There is no need to worry about this, as Google is indexing the posts/pages already.

If you have already resubmitted the sitemap_index.xml in the Search Console, you should wait for Google to recrawl the sitemap.
