Do you have any caching setup on your site? Please exclude your sitemap URLs from caching and purge your site cache then do the following:
1. Head over to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks
Hit the save button once.
2. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings
Hit the save button once.
That should fix the issue.
You can then resubmit your main sitemap in your GSC.
If the issue persists, please do let us know so we can look at this further.

Then I think we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

Thank you for the follow up.
It seems you had not enabled one posts/page sitemap which is why your sitemap was leading to 404. Since you don’t seem to have any posts, I enabled only the page sitemap in Rank math > Sitemap Settings > Pages and the sitemap is loading fine now.
Please not if there are no pages or post for any of your pages and post types, the sitemap for them is not generated until you add at least one and set it to index. This is because Rank math generates the sitemaps dynamically depending on your posts/pages.
