Sitemap Not Updating; Caching Fixes Don’t Work

    I’ve tried everything to get my sitemap to update to reflect new posts and pages, but it simply won’t update. I’ve cleared my cache, deactivated WP Rocket, cleared my cache on the server site with my host, cleared my Cloudflare cache. I’ve also excluded the sitemap URLs from WP Rocket and Cloudflare per the other support articles. I’ve gone in and tried to update the sitemap manually with the Permalink save + Sitemap settings save, and that doesn’t work either.

    I’m at a complete loss for what to do and my new blog posts all show up as ‘Indexed, Not Submitted’ in Google Search Console because the sitemap won’t update.

    Could you please share the URLs that are not showing in your sitemaps? You can add them in the sensitive data section

    Could you please check if you have somehow managed to add a custom canonical upon editing the posts? The main purpose of adding a custom canonical to your pages is to let Google know that it is a duplicate page, and not to be indexed.

    Canonical

    If you set the canonical manually, your posts/pages will not be included in your sitemap. Here’s a link for more information:

    Also, please check with your web host if you have any server caching which possibly still caching your sitemaps.

    I have checked that it is set to index and there is no canonical URL Set. I’ve also disabled Cloudflare and WPRocket and the sitemap still does not refresh. I’ve also tried clearing server-side caching and the sitemap doesn’t refresh either.

    I’m at a loss for what to do at this point and feel as those it’s impacting my SEO not reflecting the latest updates in my sitemap. Is there anything else I can do?
