Sitemap not dropping pages marked as noindex

    I just shifted my website from Yoast to Rankmath. Loving everything until now.

    The first problem I faced is that sitemap isn’t dropping the pages that I recently marked a noindex. Please suggest.

    Also, I think there should be an option to rebuild sitemap. That will solve many problems.

    I have the same problem, I added post IDs to “Exclude Posts” however the sitemap does not get updated, whereas it does get updated for other parts when for example using “Include in sitemap”

    @Ashwini     The option to noindex images usually excludes them from being shown in search results. To exclude the images from sitemap, please disable the option to include images in Rank math > Sitemap settings:

    The sitemap is automatically rebuilt when you disable/enable the module.

    If your sitemap is not getting updated, it is likely due to caching on your site. You should add your sitemap URLs to be excluded from caching.
