    Hi guys,

I’ve been having some difficulties with the sitemap and its childs generated by rankmath as everytime I flush them by saving in the permalinks settings and then in the rankmath sitemap settings I get it back for just a couple of minutes then it disappears again; moreover, I have included the sitemaps with and without wildcards in the: “Never cache the following pages”, “Never minify the following pages” and in the “404 exception list” settings of W3 Total cache plugin.

In addition, I also created a page rule with the set up of “Cache: bypass” in CloudFlare CDN as mywebsite/*sitemap*

Finally, I also turned off the AMP caching in the AMP for WP plugin settings; however, the issue persist

  • Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hi Pratik,

Thanks for taking the time into looking a solution for this issue; moreover, I explained the sitemap situation to crazy domains but they replied back stating that they can’t create any rule regarding this and all cache settings should be addressed within w3 total cache…

In addition, were you able to experience the issue at all? I noticed that you modified some settings within the PHP functions which makes me remember that I included the PHP code (attached in the sensitive data) with a PHP plugin by wp dashboard looking to find a solution for the same issue.

    Hello,

Rank math usually caches your sitemap temporarily. This cache is usually flushed when you update your posts/pages. The PHP code is a filter to disable this caching feature.

Could you please try and use a 3rd party sitemap plugin to confirm. Just make sure you have disabled the Sitemap module of Rank Math in WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard when using a 3rd party sitemap plugin.

If the other plugin works, please do let us know.

    Thank you.

    Hi Michael,

Which plugin do you know does this without interfering with rankmath SEO settings?

    Kind regards,

    Hi Michael,

I installed the Google XML sitemap generator and disabled the rankmath sitemap module; moreover, do you know what would be the best choice in both plugins settings to keep this aligned with rankmath 100%?

    Kind regards,

    Hello,

If you have disabled the Sitemap module in Rank math then I don’t think there is any other settings you need to modify on Rank math. All should be working fine. You can get in touch with the plugin to guide you on their recommended/optimal settings.

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.

    Thanks guys
