    Hi guys,

    I’ve been having some difficulties with the sitemap and its childs generated by rankmath as everytime I flush them by saving in the permalinks settings and then in the rankmath sitemap settings I get it back for just a couple of minutes then it disappears again; moreover, I have included the sitemaps with and without wildcards in the: “Never cache the following pages”, “Never minify the following pages” and in the “404 exception list” settings of W3 Total cache plugin.

    In addition, I also created a page rule with the set up of “Cache: bypass” in CloudFlare CDN as mywebsite/*sitemap*

    Finally, I also turned off the AMP caching in the AMP for WP plugin settings; however, the issue persist

  • I also included this PHP code a while back

    Filter to enable/disable Sitemap caching.
    /**
    * Filter if XML sitemap transient cache is enabled.
    *
    * @param boolean $unsigned Enable cache or not, defaults to true
    */
    add_filter( ‘rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching’, ‘__return_false’);

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Your sitemap is still being cached by W3 Total Cache, please check the screenshot I have added in the sensitive section.

    Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hi Michael,

    Maybe I have to add some exceptions into object cache and fragment caching settings as well?

    I followed the guidelines that you guys shared along with Marko here https://wordpress.org/support/topic/rank-math-and-w3-total-cache-plugin-alongside-issues/

    Maybe I’m missing something besides that?

    Hello,

    The guidelines should work. Could you please go through them again and confirm everything is set correctly.

    Else we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

    It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

    You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

    I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hi Michael,

    Just added the credentials

    In addition I got the W3 total cache pro version which allows the fragment cache

    Kind regards,

    Hello,

    I have seen you are also using Cloudflare, make sure to exclude the sitemaps from caching there too.

    Looking forward to help you.

    Hi Alberto,

    I excluded it there following a rule already

    In addition, I noticed the issue occurs when I edit and update anything within the Elementor builder; therefore, I have to flush it out with saving the permalinks and sitemap settings

    Hello,

    Please check with your webhost to ensure that your .htaccess is writeable by the server.

    If you are facing this issue only with Rank Math not other plugins, please edit the sensitive data section and include your FTP logins so we can take a close look.

    Hi guys,

    I was following up a solution with W3 Total cache support; however, the problem persists even with Marko’s recommendations https://wordpress.org/support/topic/w3-total-cache-rankmath-sitemap-elementor-issue/#post-13344524

    In addition, he stated that W3 TC is not affecting the sitemap when looking at the provided screenshot with the “view source”

    Looking forward to your assistance

    Hi guys,

    Let me know if you’re still presenting issues login

    Hello,

    Thank you for sharing the login details. I have logged into your site and spent a considerable amount of time debugging this issue and I couldn’t find anything in the plugin which could cause this. Like my colleague mentioned there must be some server settings which is preventing the Sitemap from working properly.

    Did you contact your hosting team? If not, please get in touch with them, they could provide some insights on this issue.

    I hope that helps.
