1). This issue could be related to your caching plugin, could you please provide an exception for the sitemap file on your caching rules to ensure that the file is not cached? Next, please perform these steps to fix the 404 error:
1. Head over to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks
Hit the save button once.
2. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings
Hit the save button once.
2). Could you please provide the URL to your site on the sensitive data section so that we can the check the schema issue?
