Sitemap Isn’t Working Properly?

  • Hello,

    I’ve set the links in the sitemap to be 200.

    However, when I go to my sitemap, there are 4 product sitemaps and each has between 40 to 70 urls.

    What could be the reason for this?

    I checked the sitemap, it is returning a blank page.

    Can you please follow these steps?
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    Once done, clear your website and browser cache and check the sitemap.

    That should fix the issue. Please let me know if that does not. We are here to assist.

    Hello I did the steps (step 2 was already done) can you open the sitemap now?


    I tried accessing your sitemap and it does not load on my end.

    It seems like there must be a conflict with another plugin or the theme. You can use the Health Check plugin to determine which plugin or theme is causing this. Another scenario is that you have a static file with the same name as your sitemap file sitemap_index.xml. You should FTP into your server and remove the file.

    Can you access the sitemap now? I think I resolved the issue.


    Your sitemap is still inaccessible on my end. It shows just a blank page. However, when I validated your sitemap with this XML sitemap Validator tool, it didn’t detect any issues with your sitemap. It means that Rank Math can generate the sitemap file just fine but there might be a plugin or a theme conflict. Also, possibly there might be a static file present with the same name as sitemap_index.xml on your server.

    If you are using any other sitemap generation plugin then please disable it. Also, did you follow the steps I mentioned in my last reply?
