  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Can you please follow these steps?

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

Let me know how it goes. We are looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you for the follow-up.

Could you please check in Rank Math > Sitemap Settings and check if the listings are already included in your sitemap under Post Types?

    Hi,

No. In Posts, there is only 1 article from the Blog: https://vendadeempresas.pt/como-vender-uma-empresa-em-funcionamento/

    In Pages,They aren’t either.

ALL the listings urls are missing. You can find the pages in the site: https://vendadeempresas.pt/en/all-businesses-for-sale/

If you try to generate the sitemap there: https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/, the links already appear. But in RankMath, none of the listing urls appears.

Thank you very much for your help!

    Hello,

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Thank you for the follow-up, and sorry for the delay.

I’ve tried checking the affected listings you have provided, but when we try to edit the listings, it always shows the main https://vendadeempresas.pt/en/all-business-for-sale/. I’ve attached a screencast in the sensitive data section.

Could you please let us know how are you editing the actual pages or how they are being added to your site to investigate further?

Thank you, and looking forward to your update.

I see now that in “post types” there is “Winter Listing”. So I think that the Listings should appear in that section. I don´t now if it is correct, but could you check. Thank you!

    Hello,

Thanks for getting back to us.

The way those pages are rendered on your website doesn’t allow them to be included in the sitemap. We tried the exact same setup with different SEO plugins as well and we couldn’t make it work. They all produce the same results.

In order for those pages to be in the sitemap, they need to be actual pages and at the moment they seem to be treated simply as templates that are included on the main page business-for-sale.

What I suggest is that you get in touch with the plugin makers and ask them if they were able to set up a sitemap for those pages using any of the popular SEO plugins. In case they were able to do so, please report back so we can investigate the issue further.

If you have any other questions don’t hesitate to get in touch.

    Hello,

Thanks for getting back to us.

That website works because it’s crawling the entire website looking for pages. The way SEO plugins generate sitemaps is very different and doesn’t use the same techniques.

However, if you are fully satisfied with the sitemap generated by that tool you can disable the sitemap module from Rank Math and include the sitemap generated by that tool at the root of your website. Then proceed to submit that sitemap to Google Search Console by following this tutorial: https://rankmath.com/kb/submit-sitemap-to-google/

If indeed you want to try that solution you can disable the Sitemap module by going to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard:
    Sitemap module

The only catch with this technique is that the sitemap won’t be updated automatically and you’ll need to generate a new one each time you create a new page/post on your website and update it.

Hope this helps provide some more insights.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you require any further assistance.

Thank you. Can I have the in the google search console the two sitemaps?

    Hello,

You should only include a sitemap in your Google Search Console, this way Google doesn’t need to crawl the same page twice.

If you are using the sitemap generated by that tool you only need to include that because that will already have all the pages, it just won’t update automatically like I previously mentioned.

    Hope this clarifies your issues.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Hello,
