Sitemap indexed but zero urls discovered

    Hi

    I had a few problems with my site a couple of weeks ago, and one was that my sitemap was showing an error and zero URLs found.

    This was sorted but has now happened again. I’ve tried to resubmit it but I’m still getting the error message.

    I posted this in one of the support section by mistake and should have posted here, sorry.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    f you have any caching setup enabled, please exclude all your sitemap URLs from being cached then do the following:

    1. Head over to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks

    Hit the save button once.

    2. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings

    Hit the save button once.

    That should fix the issue.

    You can test your sitemap URLs here: https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/validate-xml-sitemap.html and if there are no issues, remove your submitted sitemap(s) and resubmit only the main sitemap in your GSC.

    If the issue persists, please do let us know so we can look at this further.

    Thank you for your reply.

    This is a problem that I had a couple of weeks ago and you went into my WP site and excluded the site map for me.

    I have saved the permalinks and sitemap settings but still no luck.

    I tested my sitemap and all ok. Deleted and resubmitted in GSC but still have an error.

    I’ve managed to submit a new sitemap to GSC. It seems there was a DNS error.

    Hopefully this is what caused it and is now sorted.
