    In the site map for images
    <image: caption> <! [CDATA [Filter]]> </ image: caption>
    Inside <! [CDATA []]> is the ALT attribute for the image.
    Where does <! [CDATA []]> come from, does Google read information from it?
    There is no <! [CDATA []]> in the protocol specification.
    If you think that this is normal – give the link to read why.
    If not, tell me where to fix it in the code.

    This is completely normal, CDATA is used in XML file to command the parser that the particular section of the document contains no markup and should be treated as regular text.
