Sitemap error in Google search console

    Google search console throws an error when sitemap is submitted / pinged by Rankmath plugin or even if I upload it manually in Search console.

    One of your support thread suggested validating a sitemap through this tool: https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/validate-xml-sitemap.html

    That too throws errors, here is the screenshot: Sitemap validation tool

    I’ve flushed sitemap cache, flushed permalinks but to no use. Tried contacting my hosting support, they say, it has nothing to do with them.

    Please resolve our issue ASAP otherwise, I’ve to go back to Yoast SEO, which I’ve been using from years.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for the unexpected delays and any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    We can’t seem to replicate this error from our end.

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
