Hello,

The sitemap don’t update the last modification date with the last articles.

Also the index sitemap on Google Search Console only catch category-sitemap.xml

Can you help?

Hello,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

Please exclude your sitemaps from being cached:
https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

That should fix the issue you are facing.

Hi,

I follow the instructions but continues with the same problem. Also I try to disable the xml for categories and enable and update all the XML, but when publish a new article, don’t update the sitemap.

Hello,

The sitemap is dynamically generated which means all your sitemap files will always be generated according to your settings for links per sitemap. All your post URLs are automatically filled in bunches of 200 to the last sitemap which is /post-sitemap404.xml in you case

If you still feel like your sitemap is not updating, we can check this and create a test post. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
