To fix this please follow these steps:
1. Flush the sitemap by following this tutorial: https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp
2. Make sure that you exclude your sitemap from being cached by following this tutorial: https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/
After completing these please re-submit your sitemap to Google Search Console again by following this tutorial: https://rankmath.com/kb/submit-sitemap-to-google/

ho seguito le vostre istruzioni e sono riuscito a far visualizzare i nuovi post sulla sitemap.
Al momento della spedizione a google search console ( ho spedito sitemap_index.xml), le pagine le prende dicendo “Riuscita” mentre i post mi dice impossibile recuperare ERRORE HTTP GENERALE e continua a segnare 129 post anzichĂ© 156.
Sapreste dirmi perchè?

Please clear your website cache, then remove all the sitemaps from the Search Console and add sitemap_index.xml again.
Also, note that the discovered posts will increase when Google will crawl the website.
If the issue persists, please share the sitemap URL in the sensitive data section so we can check.

ho eliminato tutte le sitemap e rinviato nuovamente la sitemap_index.xml ma continua a darmi il problema.

We checked and the sitemaps are working properly. I also accessed the sitemap as Googlebot and tested the sitemaps with the Sitemap Validator and there were no issues found. You can have a look at the screenshots in the sensitive data section of this ticket.
It is likely that the crawl budget on the website was exhausted before the sitemaps were fully crawled and thus you see the mismatch in numbers.
Please give Google some time to crawl the website again and see if the issue gets fixed.
