  • Hi Jewel,

Assuming Google’s unable to fetch the Sitemap is a bug on their end. Please read here

It’s happening with other SEO plugins as well.

The most prominent reason behind that seems to be the introduction of the Indexing API

How You Can Get Google To Crawl Your Website Instantly

Google has plans to drop the use of Sitemaps and allow indexing API.

With that said, if your Sitemap is opening fine and online tools, such as the below one, shows no error, you should be fine

With that said, always submit only the index of the Sitemap, which looks like this

    Hope that clears the confusion.

so what should i do next, it has been almost 10 days google doesn’t even index my homepage. when i request for indexing a url it throws the error. “During live testing, indexing issues were detected with the URL”. what should i do ?? just wait or do something ??
my site have a decent seo score based on rank math’s seo analysis

It seems your website was recently hacked or is still hacked:

You might want to get that checked.

That would explain why your website is not ranking for your own domain name.

Let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Today i have installed rankmath on my website getting error of Crawl anomaly.

    Hi Vivek,

Thanks a lot for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please open a new ticket here and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
