  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Your primary sitemap seems to be working just fine when loaded in the browser:

Testing it in a Sitemap Validator, no issues returned as well:

Lastly, your robots.txt file is also showing the correct configuration as well.

Can you please follow these steps?

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    3. After doing so, please remove all your sitemaps from Bing and resubmit the primary. See if this resolves your issue.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

Hey Jeremy, thanks you for the quick reply.

We tried the above but it still shows as zero. We literally published the new website 24hrs ago. Perhaps we should wait another 24-48 hours and try again?

    Hello,

Can you please share a screenshot of the sitemap section of your Bing Webmasters Account? You can use a tool like https://imgbb.com/ to share the screenshots.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thanks.

Sure – please see here https://ibb.co/gW9nPb8

    Thank you

    Hello,

I found a few reasons why Bing is showing zero discovered URLs, as mentioned by Bing in their article:

Your site is new and we haven’t discovered and crawled it yet: With new websites it can take Bing time to find links and crawl through to your website. Even if you submit sitemaps or submit pages directly to us via your Webmaster account as described in Submit URLs to Bing, we still need to crawl and assess it before it appears in the index.

So I’d suggest please be patient and wait for Bing to discover and crawl your website.

Here is an article for your reference:

We hope this information helps. Please let us know if you need help with anything else.

    Thank you

Great stuff, thank you for the article. We will check again in a few days time and repeat the steps shared by Jeremy.

All the best & Merry Christmas.
