I am having the same trouble, can’t make it work.
    I tried
    – flush cache
    – disabling plugins
    – permalinks (save again)
    – change links setting
    – disable / enable sitemap

    I have my plugins updated.

    Any clue, please?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I have moved your issue to your own thread so it is easier to help you.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

I am having the same problem too. I just installed the plugin this morning (and configured it). However, the URL for the sitemap is throwing a 404 error.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello Nico,

Your sitemap is leading to a 404 page because you do’t have any post or page sitemap enabled. For the sitemap to load, it must have some content, in this case, the post/page/taxonomy sitemap.

Please enable these and ensure you have posts/pages/taxonomies which are set to index and let us know.

I added your sitemap to be excluded by your caching plugin correctly. Please check in your cache plugin settings.

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.

    Thank you.
I have the home page, shop page, woocommerce categories set to index.
Why is that those don’t appear in the Sitemap?
    Also products, but no-index

    Hello,

The login link does not work.

You need to have at least one post or at least one product indexable for the sitemaps to work.

Or, enable the option to not set the empty taxonomies as noindex but the preferred option is to have some indexable content.

Without that, Rank Math cannot create a sitemap.

“You need to have at least one post or at least one product indexable for the sitemaps to work.”
    Why?
I have home page, shop page and categories.
Why I need to have post and product set to index?…
If I want only categories to index?

I extended the login for 3 days

    Hello Nico,

You had not enabled the pages/post/taxonomies sitemaps in Rank math > Sitemap Settings > Posts/Pages/Taxonomies which is why your sitemap was leading to 404.

Home page and shop pages are usually added under pages sitemap since they are added in WordPress pages.

I enabled the pages, products and product categories sitemaps in Rank math > Sitemap Settings and now your sitemap is loading.

For more information, please go through our knowledge base on configuring sitemaps:https://rankmath.com/kb/configure-sitemaps/

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.
