I submitted the sitemap in google search console few days ago (same url as yoast)
I encountered a comparable situation when transitioning from Yoast to Rank Math for my desert safari offers website. Here’s what worked:
Deactivate Yoast SEO: Turn off and remove the Yoast SEO plugin.
Resubmit Rank Math Sitemap: Generate and resubmit the sitemap via Rank Math settings.
Clear Cache: Ensure a clean update by clearing both your website and browser cache.

The old server will be deleted, I pointed that domain to the new server with the new website. So I can not deactivate yoast or so. I also cleared server cache. When I click on sitemap link via rank math sitemap settings I am rederected (to the correct/updated sitemap, but of yoast)
