Sitelinks searchbox missing

    I recently changed from YoastSEO to Rank Math.
    But since this change, I noticed that in Google Search console, the amount of Sitelinks searchbox supported pages is going down.
    Each page that it recrawls, shows that it is missing.

    I also went into the pages themselves and looked in the source code for searchAction and it’s missing.

    How can I fix this?

    Thanks for getting in touch with us.

    Rank Math adds the Sitelinks search box only to the homepage. We are aware some SEO plugins add it to the entire website but that is not the correct way to do it.

    It only needs to be present on the homepage as per Google:

    First at all, remember that rich snippets displayed in Google Search can be available and in any moment don’t be displayed by Google, as they explain on their official documentation: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/sitelinks-searchbox

    About having the searchAction on your pages, as the previous link says, Google only wants that snippet on the homepage and not on any other page, so you should only see it on your homepage and to be displayed there or not depends on Google.
