Sitelink excerpt problems

    Good day. My site attracted six sitelinks – yay. If you search for “parker sanpei” you will see these links. However, every excerpt under each sitelink is the same. Google is pulling the excerpt from the same footer text. So I looked at each page in the Rank Math SEO screen in Elementor, and it shows a different dynamically generated Description for each page. However, when I then go into the WordPress editor and look at the Rankmath screen there, each page has a different Description than what it shows in Elementor. And neither of the two dynamically generated Descriptions match what is in the Rankmath tool. I’m lost as to what needs to be changed to update these.

    Elementor adds content through shortcodes and therefore some of the content on those pages can only be read by Rank math if on Elementor and not in WordPress editor. The description shown is an excerpt of the page and so the excerpt only take readable content on the current page. You can however check if the correct description is added to the page by checking the page source or using this tool: https://www.heymeta.com/​

    ​Do note that if everything’s fine and Google still decides to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.

    The best you can do is optimize your meta tags to try and match the intent of the search/keyword.
